"Quality Is A Journey, Not A Destination" - Quality and Patient Safety Department

The Quality and Patient Safety Department was established, in 2013, in Al-Khobar Health Network, affiliated to the Eastern Health Cluster in the Eastern Province – Ministry of Health.

The Quality Department has contributed in many areas, the most important of which are the following:

Implementation of CBAHI accreditation programs in health centers in Khobar and Dammam.
Risk management application and analysis.
Application and analysis of OVR event records.
Making and implementing quality improvement plans.
Applying patient safety standards.

Mission

To provide an effective organisation plan, measures, analyses and reports on quality, to support the health care organisation in accreditation redness program, and to provide high quality advanced training program.
